Edward Wayne Roadcap

Wayne was born on May 3, 1957 in Rockingham County and was a son of the late George Edward and Mamie Morrison (Troxell) Roadcap.

He worked for Shamrock Foods for many years in several different roles. He loved hunting and fishing, spending time with family and friends. He died doing what he loved, with his closest friend, William Reed by his side,

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Roadcap; children, Justin Roadcap and wife Catherine of Labelle, FL, Danielle Batton and companion Steven Flick of Crimora; sisters, Peggy Wood of Verona, VA, Faye Wimer of Verona, VA; grandchildren, Nathan, Caleb, Logan, Ethan, Joshua, Lillian, Faith, Zayden, and Abigail.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by a brother, David Roadcap.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 11 AM at Edgewood Cemetery near Grottoes, with his son, Justin Roadcap officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 3 until 5 PM at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
