Esther Alene Davis

Delmas Devereaux Davis Jr., known to friends as "D.D," went to be with the Lord on February 3rd, 2021. Esther Alene "Farrar" Davis, known to friends as "Alene" went to be with the Lord on February 5th, 2021. D.D and Alene got married February 6th 1954, they were happily married for 67 years. D.D and Alene are survived by their son, James Nathan Davis (Teresa Davis); granddaughter, Natalie Rose Davis; two great-grandchildren, Hollice Kinsley and Emerson Ray; and life long friends, Bill and Margo Miller, Kenneth and Margret Coffey. A Celebration of D.D and Alene's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday February 27, 2021, at the Hebron Baptist Church with Reverend Billy Coffey officiating. Memorial donations in memory of D.D and Alene can be made to Hebron Baptist Church/ Rockfish Valley Fire and Rescue. Arrangements have been entrusted to Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro.
