Francis C Purstell

Francis (Frank) Purstell died peacefully at his home on November 15, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Beverly Merrill Purstell; three sons, Daniel, Philip, John; grandchildren, Daniel, Philip II, Zoe; great granddaughter, Breena. After graduating from Union College in Schenectady, NY with an EE Degree he went to L.A. California with North American, then to Camden, NJ with RCA and then Grumman Aerospace in Long Island, NY and retired to Virginia. In his retirement, he started a contracting company, “Mont Ivy Corp,” where he built 5 large homes and retired again to the golf courses at Farmington Country Club and the Waynesboro Country Club.
