John David Kite, II

Born April 29, 1962 in Waynesboro, he was the son of John D. and Virginia (Kirby) Kite.

Mr. Kite, II, worked with submarines as a torpedo man for the U.S. Navy and retired after 20 years of service. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose, Waynesboro Lodge #1309. David enjoyed spending time with his family, playing computer games, paintball and poker.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Louise Kite of Ledyard, CT; daughters, Savanah Kite of Rhode Island, Rebecca Kite of Norfolk, VA and Erica Kite of CT; sister, June Hailey and husband Scott of Crimora; special nieces and caregivers, Denise Tanner of Crimora and Mandee McLaughlin of Waynesboro.

Following cremation, a celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Glenn Kirk Presbyterian Church with Pastor Scott Conrad officiating.
