Julia Kathy Thompson, 59, of Crimora, passed away on Sunday morning, December 18, 2011, at the home of her caregivers, Vickie and Jim Smith. She was born on July 20, 1952, in Richmond, a daughter of Loretta Roberts Thompson and the late Richard Thompson. Julia is survived by her mother, Loretta Roberts Thompson of Crimora; three brothers, Mike Thompson and friend, Polly Wease, of Crimora, Ricky Thompson and wife, Nancy, of Richmond, and Calvin Thompson of Waynesboro; one special sister, Patsy Critzer and husband, David, of Crimora. The family would like to give special thanks to her caregivers, Vickie and Jim Smith and their staff. A memorial services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011, at Wayside Baptist Church. Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro is handling the arrangements.
