Kenneth Odell Bartley

Kenneth was born in Waynesboro to Frances L Bartley and Kenneth Bartley on July 8th, 1947. He spent most of his working life as a landscaper, delivering mulch, and driving dump trucks. In his spare time Kenneth loved spending time with his family, especially at Sherando Lake, where he enjoyed cooking out for birthday parties and reunions. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Painter; a daughter, Sherry Painter; two brothers, Ricky Mize and Scott Bartley; and his good friend, George Christianson.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Priscilla Painter; his daughter, Krystal Hawthorne and husband Robert; son, David Painter; his grandchildren, Alicia Bartley, Cassy Painter, Cory Hatter, Aiden Hawthorne, Calob Hatter, Leslie Painter, and Travis Painter; as well as great-grandchildren, Isaiah Painter, Haven Painter, Chosen Painter, Micah Hatter, Elijah Painter, and Josiah Painter. In addition, Kenneth is survived by a brother, Ronnie Mize; numerous nieces and nephews; and a good friend, Jonnie Gordon.

Following cremation, the family will hold a Celebration of Life service at a time and date to be determined.
