Kenneth Palestine Davis, 83, of Waynesboro, passed away peacefully at home on February 18, 2021. He was born September 4, 1937 in Charlottesville, a son of the late Sheffey Lee and Robbie (Thompson) Davis. Kenny retired as an owner/operator of produce transport. He was an Army Special Forces, Green Beret veteran having proudly served his country. Kenny never met a stranger and everyone that knew him loved him and his little yellow car. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Caricofe Davis; his four children, Valerie Spencer, Griffin, Tawny and Tarken Davis; two step children, Tina Hall (Jamie) and Jamie Brooks (Tiffany Fitzgerald); two grandchildren, four step grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 16 siblings. A service to celebrate his life will be conducted on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor Theresa Moore officiating. A walkthrough visitation to pay your respects will be Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Waynesboro Chapel. Due to COVID-19 and the limit of 10 people visiting at a time, we ask you limit your visit to 5-10 minutes to allow the opportunity for everyone to pay their respects. Masks and social distancing will be required. Burial will follow at McGann Family Cemetery, 1043 Old Stony Creek Rd. Nellysford, VA 22958.
