Lloyd Nolan Maybush

Lloyd Nolan Maybush, 69, of Staunton passed away Wednesday, August 01, 2012 at Augusta Health.

He was born December 17, 1942 in Rockbridge County, son of the late James William and Barbara Harlow Maybush.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene and James Maybush.

Lloyd was in the maintance department at Park Hill Apartments in Staunton for many years.

Survivors include his faithful companion, Edith Simmons of Staunton; one daughter, Tammy Davis and husband, Wayne Davis, Jr. of Waynesboro; five grandchildren, Paige, Cody, Tyler, Taylor and Emma; one great-granddaughter, Kinsey; one brother, Ronnie Maybush of Waynesboro; two sisters, Betty Bennington and Joyce Johnson, both of Waynesboro and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2012 at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro and following the visitation at the residence of his niece, Elizabeth “Sissy” Moore, 401 13th Street, Waynesboro.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Augusta Memorial Park with Pastor Merle Fisher officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Wayne Davis, Jr., Tyler Davis, Corey Beach, Jerry Booth, John Johnson, David Johnson, William Maybush and Robert Maybush.
