Lois Louise Hammer

She was born March 28, 1931 in Blue Grass, a daughter of the late Weldon and Mildred Wimer.

She was a homemaker, a member of Wayne Hills Baptist Church where she was a member of Fun Bunch and the Joy Sunday School Class.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband William “Bill” Roy Ebarhard of 38 years, her second husband James Hammer of 16 years, two brothers, Weldon Wimer and Gerald Wimer.

Survivors include a son, Rick Eberhard and wife Cindy of Stuarts Draft, a step-son, Ron Hammer and wife Jill, step-daughters; Deborah Koiner and husband Warren, Diane Roughgarden and husband Rick, Mary Ann Gilmer and husband Bill, a sister, Joyce Duncan of Verona, two grandchildren; Candice Bartley and husband Shane, Derek Eberhard, four step-grandchildren; James Koiner, Emily Craig, Dory Gilmer, Sara Gilmer, seven great-grandchildren; Chase, Caiden, Emma, Jathan, Dylan, Jasmine, Kallie and a sister-in-law, Jackie Wimer.

A service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes by Mike Beverly. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Riverview Cemetery due to weather conditions.

Active pallbearers will be Gary Duncan, Chris Duncan, Glenn Myers, Shane Bartley, Kenny Hodge and Danny Hall.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Fun Bunch and Joy Sunday Class of Wayne Hill Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
