Michael Wayne Shifflett

Michael was born on May 29, 1959, in Charlottesville, Virginia, to his parents, the late James C. Shifflett and Dorothy M. Shifflett. On August 18, 1981, he married the love of his life, Bernice C. Fisher. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Bernice C. Shifflett; daughter, Michelle D. Shifflett, mother of his granddaughter, Amber J. Morrison, and her father, Jeremy Morrison; his son, Michael S. Shifflett and his wife, Rachel Shifflett.

Also surviving is his sister, Margie and her husband, Howard May; brother, Joe and his wife, Sharon Shifflett; sister, Linda Eder; sister, April Bailey; sister, Donna and her husband, Morrison Mooneyham; sister, Kara and her husband, Dennis Kolbaba; brother, Terry Shifflett; brother, Greg Shifflett; and sister Debbie and her husband, Marvin Painter.

Mike was a wonderful husband and a loving father, who enjoyed amateur radio, as one of his favorite pastimes, where he was known as KC4MZN, and later known as W4MWS. His faith in the Lord Jesus Christ was shown through his actions and he will be forever missed, by all that knew him.
