

Patricia Ann Fridley Hoke, 79, of Waynesboro, entered into eternal life, peacefully with family by her side on Thursday morning, December 27, 2012, at Avante of Waynesboro. She was born on December 1, 1933, in Covington, Virginia, the daughter of the late Emmett Russell and Zelma Lockridge Fridley. Ann and Bill were married on October 10, 1955, in Clifton Forge, Virginia. They moved to Waynesboro in 1959, where she worked for G.E.and other places of business. She attended Wayne Hill United Methodist Church. Ann was a very loving and devoted person. She always enjoyed being with family, friends, and going for motorcycle rides. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Fridley; and a grandson, Wayne Hoke. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, William B. Hoke; a daughter, Suzanne and Woody Bosserman of Waynesboro; three sons, Greg Hoke of Waynesboro, Gary and Aileen Hoke of Crimora, Steve and Vickie Hoke of Waynesboro; a brother, Pete Fridley of Washington State; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro and other times at the home of her daughter's, 57 Apple Land Circle, Waynesboro, Virginia. Following cremation, a private graveside service will be held at Augusta Memorial Park.
