She was born December 16, 1943, a daughter of the late Roy E. and Mary Elizabeth (Morris) Coffman.
Mrs. Grant was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Forrest Coffman, Karen Coffman, Louis E. Coffman, and Zeandall Mark Coffman.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy Shifflett and wife Deana of Lyndhurst, Bobby Shifflett and wife Sharon of Crozet; two daughters, Carolyn Viar and husband Mike of Nellysford, Maryann Blair and husband David of Mint Springs; siblings, Marcella Coffman, Ramona Coffman, Kathy Barker, Fern Chandler, Matilda Good; grandchildren, Brian Shifflett, Eric Shifflett, David “BJ” Blair, Jr., Mariah Blair, Abel Blair, Jennifer Viar, Sean Viar, Darrell Viar, Adam Shifflett, Kyle Shiffett, Alexis Shifflett as well as 12 great grandchildren.
Following cremation a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
