R. W. Fitzgerald, Jr.

He was born April 12, 1978, the son of Robert Wesley, Sr., and Sheila (Thacker) Fitzgerald.

Robert was employed by BD&E Bank Design and Equipment of Waynesboro and was a member of First Baptist Church of Grottoes. He had previously attended Wayside Baptist Church and Wayne Hills Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Angie (Smith) Fitzgerald; sons, Wesley Fitzgerald and Kaleb Fitzgerald; daughter, Breonnah Fitzgerald; brother, Johnny Fitzgerald and wife, Kristi; sister-in-law, Kim Shiflett, and her husband, Chris; grandfather, K. C. Fitzgerald; three nieces, Freedom Fitzgerald, Liberty Fitzgerald and Payton Shiflett.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main Street, Waynesboro, with Pastor Mark Wingfield officiating.

A meal for family and friends will be held following the service at Wayside Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the funeral home.
