

Born November 16, 1942 in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Murrell F. and Elise (Whitehead) Campbell.
Ms. Ellinger was a member of Greenville Baptist Church. She was employed by the former G.E./Genicom companies until her retirement. Becky was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Waynesboro Lodge #1309. She enjoyed going to play bingo with all her special friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence “Larry” Ellinger on September 9, 2006; brothers, Flemming, Warren and Glenn Campbell; two sisters, Shirley Kusner and husband John and Faye Lee Rexrode.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Debbie Simpson and husband Skip of Waynesboro and Todd Ashby of San Diego, CA; step-daughter, Lana Elmquist of Willimgton, N.C.; a very special grandcat Star, that she loved dearly and her cat, Lucky, that she also adored; brothers, Murray and wife Thelma Campbell and Robert H. and wife Crannie Campbell all of Greenville; sister-in-law, Phyllis Campbell of Madison Heights, VA; brother-in-law, Robert Rexrode of Lexington, VA; father of her two children, W.C. Ashby and wife Gloria; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as two wonderful neighbors and special friends, Betty Rankin and Shirley Warren and their families.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Augusta Memorial Park with Pastor Jamie McClanahan officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, July 16, 2012 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main Street and other times at her residence.
The family would like to give a special heartfelt thank you to Roslynn Harry and Mary Scott Miller, both of Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah, and Dr. Jim Boyer and Donna Markley for the wonderful care they gave their mother during her illness.
