

Bob was born in Virginia to Clyde Augusta Argenbright and Sarah Winnifred (Phillips) Argenbright on January 27th, 1938. He worked for several manufacturing companies in the Waynesboro area after serving in the Army from 1956 to 1960. On June 10th, 1961 he was joined in marriage with his beloved wife Priscilla Ann Argenbright. Bob was a prominent member of Calvary United Methodist Church, where he designed the current sanctuary and is credited for gathering and organizing all of the historical documents for the Church, which remains on display.
In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by five sisters, Faye Cook, Patricia Pannell, Barbara Hensley, Bonnie Maxwell, and Mary Carr.
Bob is survived by his wife, Priscilla Argenbright; his sons, Doug Argenbright (Christine) of Rockingham County, and Terry Argenbright (Michelle) of Staunton; six grandchildren, Colin Argenbright (Ashley), Kayley Vela (Nick), Storm Argenbright, Hunter Argenbright, Lily Argenbright, and Katie Argenbright; and four great-grandchildren, Lila Vela, Evan Vela, Monty Argenbright, and Sky Argenbright. In addition, Bob is survived by one sister, Marge Lambert (Gene) of Stuarts Draft; five brothers, Harold Argenbright (Debbie) of Mount Solon, Garry Argenbright (Janet) of Lyndhurst, Barry Argenbright (Evelyn) of Waynesboro, Clyde (Bill) Argenbright (Anita) of New Hope, and Sam Argenbright (Nancy) of Mint Spring. Bob is also survived by dear friends W.J. and Annette Farley.
A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, December 23rd, at 11:00 AM at Calvary United Methodist Church in Stuarts Draft with Pastor David Vaughn officiating. Bob will be laid to rest at Augusta Memorial Park at 11:00 on Tuesday, December 26th, 2023.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Nick Vela, Storm Argenbright, Hunter Argenbright, Colin Argenbright, Kayley Vela and Lily Argenbright.
Family will receive friends on Friday, December 22nd, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
