

She was born May 1, 1959, a daughter of Samuel A. and Patricia E. (Waggy) Moyer.
Sharon graduated from Wilson Memorial High School and Valley Vocational Technical School in 1977.
She was a member of Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church in Fishersville.
Sharon was strong willed, with a big heart for seeing people for who they truly were and for coaxing them out of their shell.
With kind words, a gentle smile or the comfort of her presence she had a way of making everyone feel valued. She will be remembered for her generous heart and a way of making beautiful memories.
In addition to her parents, survivors include a brother, Richard Moyer and wife Tracey: sister, Kim Moyer Driver; her special love, Drew Cashatt, her high school sweetheart, who she reconnected with after 50 years of living in South Carolina.
She also leaves a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and her church family.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Merle Fisher officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service in Spring Hall of Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory.
