She was born October 22, 1948 in Racine, Wisconsin to the late Vern and Marjorie Tietz.
Sherry lived an eventful and adventurous life, living in many states across the country.
She finally settled in Virginia to enjoy spending time with her son and grandson.
Survivors include her son, Scott Olli, his wife, Wendi and a grandson, Cole.
Memorial services will be held privately at a later date.
