Shirley Cash Campbell

Shirley Cash Campbell, 89, of Raphine passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at the Shenandoah Hospice House. She was born August 21, 1935, a daughter of the late John Samuel and Grace Rachel (Campbell)Cash.

She retired as a budget analyst from the Department of Defense in 2000 after 36 years of service and returned to the family farm a few years later.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Juen Campbell, her daughter Beverly Campbell and siblings Ronald Cash, Vernon Cash, George Cash, Elizabeth Markasich, Rebecca Hoffman, Frances Harris and Margaret Shull.

Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Campbell of Waynesboro; two grandchildren Samuel Segars and wife Marylinn of Staunton, Grace Dent and husband Robert of South Salem, NY; one great grandson, Billy Dent.

A memorial service will be held at Valley Baptist Church 26 Sunny Slope Lane Stuarts Draft, VA on Monday, November 25,2024 at 11am with Pastor Frank Hall officiating.

The family wishes to give a special thank you to her niece Barbara Harris and nephew Michael Shull as well as the caregivers at Augusta Health ICU and Hospice of the Shenandoah for the compassionate care given to Shirley.
