Shirley Ann Dameron

Shirley Ann Dameron, 82, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the Shenandoah Nursing and Rehab Center in Fishersville. She was born March 27, 1942, the daughter of the late William Franklin and Marie Elizabeth (Swartz) Black. She retired from the former American Safety Razor in Verona. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Donnie Lee Dameron and a brother, Donnie Black. Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Wellborn and husband, Scott; a son Donavan Scott Dameron and wife, Amanda; brothers, Eddie Black, Jerry Black, Elvert “Pill” Black, Robert Black, Jim Wood and a sister, Carolyn Shirkey. She also leaves three grandchildren, Drake Wellborn, Tucker Dameron and Chloe Dameron. Following cremation a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Good Shepherd Church of the Nazarene, 2348 Tinkling Spring Rd., Stuarts Draft, Va. with Pastor Charles Perkins officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Church of the Nazarene. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory.
