Svetlana was born in Kazakhstan to Anatoly and Lydia Kazakova on March 21st, 1960. Svetlana secured a Master’s Degree while in the Soviet Union and served for many years as a Police Captain. She immigrated to the United States in the late 1990’s to marry her husband, Daniel Rowe. After coming to the U.S. and becoming a citizen, Svetlana worked with Daniel at his Tax Preparation business. Svetlana loved animals will be remembered as a loving and caring wife and mother. Svetlana always told her family that even though she was born in Kazakhstan and was a U.S. citizen, she was still a proud Russian.
Svetlana is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel E. Rowe.
Svetlana is survived by her daughter, Lydia Rowe of Waynesboro; a niece, Olga Kazakova of Kazakhstan, and a large extended family, still living in Kazakhstan.
