Vicki SuElizabeth (Floyd) Taylor, 63, of Waynesboro, passed away on Wednesday November 17, 2021 at Augusta Health. Mrs. Taylor was born on January 4 1958 in Los Angeles, California and was a daughter of the late Bobby Joe Floyd and surviving Theoma (Launder) Floyd. Vicki worked as a Registered Nurse at the University of Virginia Medical for 25 years before her health forced her retirement. In her retirement she wrote two books, one that was published in 2015 and the second was still in progress. She was an avid reader and writer, and enjoyed arts, crafts, and painting. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her kids and grandkids. On September 3, 1988 she married Mark Taylor who survives. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Taylor is survived by her children, John Nicholas Johnson and wife Mariah of Charlottesville, Teran Elizabeth Johnson of Fishersville, Gabriel Alan Taylor of Waynesboro; sister, Sandi Belcher and husband Jim of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Dustin Johnson, Hailey Bell, Amiya Johnson, Amari Clark; great-grandchildren Arianna and Adalynn. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Floyd. A celebration of Vicki’s life will be held on Monday December 6, 2021 at 6 PM at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes. The family asks that all in attendance of the service please wear face masks. Vicki’s daughter Teran, and her family, will receive friends on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 4 PM until 8 PM at the Waynesboro Moose Lodge. In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorial contributions be made in Vicki’s Memory to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association by visiting https://phassociation.org/donate/information/ Arrangements entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
