She became devoted to the Pilgrim Holiness Church, where she raised her family to love God. She taught the adult Sunday School Class for many years and worked tirelessly in other ministries of the church that supported her life values and faith in Christ. Vivian was a strong Christian role model, whose faith in Christ and her love for family and friends were unconditional.
Part of her life was also devoted to writing poetry and music that expressed her love for God and the hope of eternal life in him. Both her poetry and music were published. She also enjoyed the past time of putting together puzzles.
