

Born March 16, 1926 in Alum Bridge, WV, he was the son of the late Wallace B. and Tressie (Titus) Lynch.
Wallace was a member of Hermitage Presbyterian Church, Waynesboro. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran having served his country honorably during World War II and the Korean Conflict. Wallace worked as the Director of Therapeutic Recreation for a number of years for Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center and later for the Veterans Administration in Washington, D.C. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the US and the Fraternal Order of the Freemasons. In his spare time, he enjoyed wood working, traveling, building houses, and cheering on West Virginia University Mountaineers and the Washington Redskins football teams.
Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Barbara (Dawson) Lynch; children, Steven Michael Lynch and wife, Susan of Stuarts Draft and Lou Ann Lynch of Staunton; sister, Chyleen Young and husband, Donnie of Morgantown, WV; grandchildren, Laura Fendrick, Timothy Lynch, Destiny Lynch, Mark Enriquez and Frank Enriquez; one great grandson, Kaden Beard; as well as a number of extended family members.
A private family graveside service will be held at Hermitage Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Wray Sherman officiating.
