Audrey Jane Conklin

She was born October 16, 1930 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late French Foley and Edna Sylvia Swerginger Foley.

On February 26, 1950 she married Ralph C. Conklin Sr., who died July 6, 2002.

Mrs. Conklin has worked as a clerk at G.C. Murphy Co. and McCrory’s in Waynesburg. She has also worked as a seamstress for Greenway Manufacturing.

She was a lifetime resident of Waynesburg and Sycamore.

Mrs. Conklin was a member of the Bates Fork Baptist Church in Sycamore. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Waynesburg.

Surviving are three sons, Ralph C. Conklin Jr. of Prosperity, Gary R. Conklin (Michelle) of Prosperity, and Jonathan D. Conklin of Los Angeles, CA; two daughters, Letha W. Zollars (Kirk) of Carmichaels, and Tina L. Thomas of Leechburg. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a daughter, Mathyle Smith; a son-in-law, John L. Thomas; brother, Donald Foley; a half- sister, Lela Fortney; and a half-brother, Pete Bolyard.
