Burl Alan Cain, 66, of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at UPMC Washington. He was born June 6, 1959 in Franklin Twp., Greene Co., PA, a son of the late Arthur Burl Cain and Rose Ellen Tustin Cain Montgomery. Burl was a lifelong resident of Greene County. He was a member of the Greene Light Coalition, American Handicap Association and a member of the American Disability Act Committee. Burl was a Tri-County Patriot for Independent Living and Living Advisor and Counselor for Washington and Greene and Fayette Counties while working out of Uniontown. Surviving is his Wife: Harriet Kowalewski Cain whom he married on August 25, 2001. Also surviving are 1 Son: Robert Alan Cain of Waynesburg, PA, 1 Stepdaughter: Felicia Martin of Rices Landing, PA, 1 Stepson: Allen (Joslynn) Miller of Carmichaels, PA, 8 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchild, 2 Sisters: Helen Virginia Winebrenner of Ohio, and Rosemary Kennedy of Waynesburg, PA, 3 Brothers: Michael Eugene Cain of Poland Mine, PA, Arthur Ray Cain of Waynesburg, PA, William Lee Cain of Rices Landing, PA and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is 1 Brother: Clyde Burl Cain. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, July 14, 2025 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 197 N.
