Carolyn Haught Locke Drabers

Carolyn married Warren E. Haught in Fort Brag, NC, in 1942. After WWII, Warren and Carolyn moved back to Pennsylvania where they raised four children, and Carolyn worked as a nurse at Mercy Hospital for over 25 years. After her retirement Carolyn enjoyed traveling the world and perfecting her golf swing with her second husband Theodore Drabers.

Mrs. Drabers is survived by her children Suzanne Haught Faris of Altoona, PA, Cynthia Haught Murray of Lufkin, TX, David (Lisa) Haught of Minneapolis, MN, and Thomas (Sue) Haught of Altoona, PA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and her faithful dog Joey.

Mrs. Drabers is preceded in death by her first husband Warren E. Haught, second husband Theodore C. Drabers, sons-in-law Herb Faris and J. Richard Murray, and grandson David Thomas Haught.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday June 6, 2013 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 232 E High St., Waynesburg, Pa., with Rev. Richard Thompson as celebrant, followed by inurnment at Greene County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Ms. Drabers name to the Alopecia Foundation at www.naaf.org to Children’s Cancer Research at www.childrenscancerresearch.org Arrangements are being handled by Behm Funeral Home, Waynesburg.
