Clifford L. "Skip" Blackburn

He was born Monday, November 18, 1929 in Fredericktown, PA a son of the late John W. Blackburn and Bertha Rice Blackburn.

Mr. Blackburn was a longtime member of the Bates Fork Baptist Church in Sycamore, PA where he was an usher and trustee. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #391 of Fredericktown, PA. Mr. Blackburn was an active member of the Waynesburg Senior Center. He was a veteran, having retired from the US Army 82nd Airborne Division with over 20 years of service. Surviving are 1 Sister: Ruth Ann Cutwright of Carmichaels, PA, his extended family as well as several nieces and nephews. Deceased are 5 Sisters and 3 Brothers and his companion Goldie Smith.

Friends will be received from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 10, 2018 in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,197 N. Maiden St Waynesburg, PA 15370 where services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 11, 2018 with Rev. Cristy Wise officiating. Burial will be in Greene Co. Memorial Park, Waynesburg, PA.
