H. Brion Vandruff, 66, of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania passed away at 6:13 AM on Friday, April 5, 2024 at home. Brion was born on November 3, 1957 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania a son of Gertrude Crockett VanDruff and the late Harold VanDruff. Brion grew up attending Claughton Chapel United Methodist Church in Whiteley Twp. Brion was a partner with his father Harold in ownership of VanDruff Farms in Kirby, PA raising beef cattle as well as dairy cattle. Later on, he became a bus driver fro over 40 years, starting with Charlie Bowers and then with Fox School Bus Service retiring in 2021. Brion was an avid fisherman and hunter, traveling to Alaska, Maine, Montana and Wyoming. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA. His Wife: Linda K. Smith VanDruff, whom he married on August 15, 1987 survives. Also surviving are 1 Daughter: Sara VanDruff of Waynesburg, PA, 1 Sister: Shari (John) Curry of Spraggs, PA, 1 Nephew: Jordan (Megan) Curry of Waynesburg, PA and 1 Great-Nephew: Henry Curry of Waynesburg, PA.
A greeting of friends for Brion will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mount Morris United Methodist Church, 256 Mount Morris Road, Mount Morris, PA 15349 with his Celebration of Life service starting at 1:00 PM with Pastor Monica Calvert officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
