

John Franklin Dailey Sr., 79, of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025. John was born October 25, 1945 in Crucible, Pennsylvania a son of the late Arthur Dailey and Annabell Toland Dailey. He was a veteran, having served in the US Army during Vietnam. John was a member of the VFW Post #4793 of Waynesburg. He enjoyed fishing, trapping, hunting and spending time outdoors. He loved being on the farm and was inseparable from his dog Kandy. He was a retired truck driver, having driven for several different companies. Surviving is his girlfriend Linda Simpson of Carmichaels, PA, his son John Franklin Dailey, Jr. and Sabrina Kelly, his grandson Trevor Foster of Waynesburg, PA, his brother Lloyd Dailey and girlfriend Sara Bennett and his sister Donna. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 27, 2025 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370 with his funeral service being held at 1:00 PM with Liz Stahl officiating. Burial will be private and held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA. Graveside Military rites to be accorded by Greene County Honor Guard as well as active members of the US Army. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made directly to the family.
