John "Jack" K. Davin

John K. "Jack" Davin, age 70, of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania passed away at 3:02 PM on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at UPMC Washington after a brief illness. He was born February 11, 1955, in Waynesburg, PA a son of the late Miles Davin, Sr. and Ruth Liniger Davin. Jack was a member of the St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, St. Matthias Parish in Waynesburg. Jack was very active with the farmers market in the region, mainly the Morgantown Farmers Market. He ran the hydroponic farm known as the "Forever Greenehouse"in Greene County for over 20 years. He loved fishing with his son Casey and he really enjoyed time with his granddaughters and cooking. His wife of 35 years, Terri Gorby Davin survives. Also surviving are 1 Daughter: Kelsey (Steve) Krauss of Norristown, PA, 2 Granddaughters: Ava and Abigail Krauss, 1 Sister: Polly (Karl) Zeth of Waynesburg, PA, 2 Brothers: Miles "Kissy" (Holly) Davin, Jr. of Waynesburg, PA, Keith (Regina) Davin of Waynesburg, PA and several nieces and nephews. Deceased: 1 Son- Casey Davin, There will be visitation held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370 Shane M. Ayers, Director. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 24, 2025 with Father Tom Lewandowski as celebrant.
