Lynne Arden Cain Snyder

Lynne was born in Hagans, WV on April 3, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Hilda and Raymond Cain. She was a devoted Christian and served God faithfully in her daily life along with teaching Sunday school. She graduated from Mt. Morris High School class of 1957. In 1979, she received her BA from Waynesburg College. Lynne was a jack of all trades. She was a teacher, insurance agent, seamstress, lay speaker for the Pleasant Valley Church, and spent 17 years as the office manager of her daughters' dance studio before retiring. Lynne is survived by her husband of 58 years, William E. Snyder; 5 children, Timothy J. (Helen) Snyder, Bryan K. (Judy) Snyder, Mark E. (Vicki) Snyder, Crystal L. (Jim) Garber and Katreena L. Snyder; 10 Grandchildren, Timothy and spouse Amber, Adam, Michael and spouse Ron, Hailey, Nicholas, Codie, Cara, Matthew, Jeremiah and Devin; 6 Great-Grandchildren, Abby, Emily, Trenton, Lilly, Bentlie and Saylor; 3 Brothers, Dale (Kathy) Cain, Gary (Cathy) Cain, Larry (Maria) Cain, half-brother Steve Cain and 2 Sisters Lola (Ed) Ayres and Lois (Gary) Barnhart. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by 2 grandsons, Lance Corporal Joshua Riley Snyder and Tyler Ray Garber. Lynne will be lovingly remembered by all the lives she touched with her beauty and grace. All of her family and friends will miss the unconditional love that they received from her. Lynne loved making costumes, handing out lollipops and hugging all the children at the dance studio. She loved preparing Sunday dinner for all her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her spunk, fashion sense and of course her hats!

Friends will be received from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 26, 2016 in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH,Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478 Mount Morris, PA 15349 Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Mt.
