Born with a heart full of compassion and a spirit of unconditional love, Margaret spent her life pouring kindness into the lives of others. She was known by many as a woman who never turned away a stranger and always made sure everyone she met felt welcomed, accepted, and loved.
Margaret’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a proud mother and grandmother whose home was always open, warm, and filled with love. For over 20 years, Margaret dedicated herself to foster care, opening her heart and home to children in need. Her legacy includes the many lives she touched, the four children she lovingly adopted as well as her own 4 sons who she raised on her own.
She will be remembered most for her giving nature, her nurturing soul, and the countless ways she quietly and selflessly helped others. To know Margaret was to know comfort, generosity, and grace.
Margaret is survived by all of her sons and daughter and many, many grandchildren, as well as a wide extended family and community who loved her dearly.
A celebration of her life will be held on June 24th, 2025 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370 Shane M. Ayers-Managing Director. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories of a woman whose love knew no bounds. Interment will be Private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret’s memory to a foster care or children’s charity of your choice. Condolences and pics may be shared with the family at www.milliken-throckmortonfh.com
