Rose L. Harvey

She was born Wednesday, October 22, 1924 in Mt. Morris, PA a daughter of the late William H. Donley and Jessie Core Donley.

Mrs. Harvey was Methodist by faith. She was a graduate of Morgantown High School Class of 1942 and a graduate of Morgantown Business College. Mrs. Harvey was a member of the Alpha Iota Chapter of the Phi Rho Zeta Sorority. She enjoyed sewing, baking and doing puzzles. She really loved spending time with her family. She had worked for the War Price and Rationing Board in Morgantown, WV as a secretary. She also worked for the Mare Island Supply Depot in Mare Island, California and was a homemaker. Her Husband: John Keith Harvey, Sr. whom she married on June 15, 1944 died on June 8, 2017. Surviving are 2 Sons: John K. Harvey, Jr. and wife Judy of Morgantown, WV and Greg A. Harvey and wife Linda of Mt. Morris, PA, 3 Grandsons: Jeff Harvey, Brad Harvey and Ryan Harvey, 4 Great-Grandchildren: Shauri H. Morrison and Clay Harvey, Canon Harvey and Holden Harvey, 1 Great-Great-Grandson: Greyson Harvey, 1 Sister: Virginia Hostetler of Morgantown, WV and several nieces and nephews. Deceased: 1 Brother- Joseph E. Donley, Maternal Grandparents- Charles E. and Laura Price Core and Paternal Grandparents- William Arthur and Minnie Fox Donley.

Friends will be received from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, September 19, 2021 in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH,Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478 Mount Morris, PA 15349 where services will be conducted on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Pastor David McElroy officiating.
