Wayne was born on January 13, 1970 to Louise Sova and the late Wendell Wayne Mayo. He graduated from Carmichaels High School. He worked various construction jobs in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, and liked to ride his Harley motorcycle.
In addition to his mother and stepfather, Louise and Don Sova, he is survived by his daughter, Heather Giles; son, Wayne Everett Mayo, Jr.; four sisters, Wendy Mayo, Charlotte Blaker, Lisa Dow, Jennifer Frazee; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
