Arthur Augustus Hibbert

Arthur Hibbert, age 86, of Waynesville, NC passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Arthur was born August 26, 1934 in Yonkers, NY to the late Frederick and Rose Hibbert. He was a retired firefighter with the Metro Dade County Fire Department. He was also a volunteer here at the Haywood Christian Ministry.

In addition to his parents, Arthur is preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 63 years, Fran Hibbert; daughter, Felicia Marshall; son, Roger Hibbert; two grandsons, Justin Hibbert and Jason Hibbert; one granddaughter, Krystal Paigo; two great grandchildren, Elijah Hibbert and Noah Hibbert; brother, Fred Hibbert; sisters, Joan Senft and Eleanor Senft; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 25, at Calvary Road Baptist Church in Maggie Valley with the Reverend John H. Swanger III officiating. A meal will follow at the Multipurpose Building.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Haywood Christian Ministries.
