Benny Hugh Mashburn, born on April 4, 1939, in Waynesville, North Carolina, passed away on January 26, 2026, at the age of 86. Benny was a resident of Waynesville, North Carolina.
Ben served in the United States Navy and retired from Dayco in 1995. He enjoyed woodworking and making music with his friends.
Ben was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Lee and Verna Mills Mashburn; and sister, Eloise Mashburn.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 46 years, Cathy Mashburn; son, Ken (Kassie) Mashburn; daughter, Debbie Mashburn; sister, Betty Ray; brother, Lester (Sue) Mashburn; five grandchildren, Kristen, Briana, Lydia, Kevin, and Kelly and six great grandchildren, Taylor, Jonah, Paisley, Blaze, Charlie, and Jax.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
