Joan M. Kelley, age 81, formerly of Waynesville, NC passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in Jackson County, NC. Joan was born on May 29, 1942, in Montezuma, IN to the late Oscar and Goldie Steffy Hutson. She was one of eleven children who grew to be a homemaker who enjoyed canning, sewing and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her first husband, William David Kelley; daughter, Carolyn Sue Kelley; second husband, Sammy H. Jones, Jr.; brothers, Robert Hutson and Howard Hutson; and sisters, Jean Hutson and Kathy Hutson.
Joan is survived by her daughter, Nancy Carden (Mark).
