Orange City, FL-Kathryn Mills Scianna, 72 formerly of Waynesville, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Kathryn was born on April 2, 1949, in Brooklyn, NY to the late Reginald and Helen Landon Mills.
In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Joseph Scianna; brother, Glenn Mills; and sister, Carol Mills Jerome.
Kathryn is survived by her sons, Thomas Scianna and Christopher Scianna (Denise); granddaughters, Marisa and Faith; cousin, Peggy Benasaraf; nephew, James Jerome, Jr.; and niece, Jennifer Mills Benefield.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 1, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Paul McNulty officiating. Entombment will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, February 28, at Garrett Funerals and Cremations.
