Mitchell "Buddy" Duane Beasley

Waynesville-Mitchell "Buddy" Duane Beasley, 46 passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022, after an extended illness. Buddy was born on June 7, 1976, in Tampa, FL, to the late Jack Beasley and Jeany Beasley.

Buddy was a very friendly and outgoing man. He loved to make people laugh and was always there to help a friend in need. There was never a dull moment during his life with Carrie and he always made her laugh and smile. He hated to be serious, but could be when needed. He loved football. His favorite football team was Florida State. He loved to watch old western movies and tv shows. He enjoyed listening to various genres of music, but his favorite was old country music with his favorite artists such as Johnny Cash, George Strait, and Garth Brooks to name a few. Buddy had a heart of gold and loved his family above all else. This world lost a great man and the world will never be the same without him.

In addition to his mother, Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Carrie Beasley; sons, Dakota and Dyllan Beasley; and sister, Raina Schodtler.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 26, in the chapel of the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain with military honors.
