Norma Louise Jones Winchester

Waynesville-Norma Jones Winchester, 97, died on Saturday, September 23, 2017, at The Homestead. Norma was born in the Caney Fork Community of Jackson County to the late Samuel Vance and Nellie Watson Jones. Norma enjoyed working in her garden, cooking, canning, going out to eat, crocheting, and her cats and dogs. Most of all she loved having her family gather at her house for a “family homecoming.” In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Winchester; a son Jehu Winchester and his wife Sue; grandsons, David Winchester and David Edwards; and a son-in-law, David “Strawberry” Reece. Norma is survived by a son, Tony Winchester; daughters, Audrey Yeager and her husband Dan and Sonja Reece; grandchildren, Kenneth Winchester, Jamie Winchester, Michelle Parker (Tommy), Angie Riddle (Clint), David Reece (Misti), Sam Reece (Misty), Michael Ashe (Michele), Dan Ashe (Genie), Amanda Parker (Alan), Tammy Woody, and Sherry Haynes; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 25, at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Jerry Nelson and Reverend Patrick Womack officiating.
