Rev. Gary Eugene Byram

Rev. Gary Eugene Byram, age 80, of Maggie Valley, NC went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Gary was born on August 16, 1943, in Wynne AR to the late Jim and Alberta Clayton Byram. He was a faithful pastor at Bible Baptist Church in Bradenton, FL for 25 years and a representative for Camp Tracey Children's Home for 10 years. Gary's family was precious to him and he was a fisher of fish and an even better fisher of men.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Paige Sedgley; and brother, Larry Byram.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Judith "Judy" Page Byram; son, Douglas Byram (Kristi); grandsons, Sam Byram (Carrie), Tyler and Sullivan Sedgley; and granddaughter, Maryann Byram; great-grandchildren, Johnathon, Isaac, and Gracen Byram, Adalyn and Ryan Sedgley; brothers, Jim Byram of Bradenton, FL and Jerry Byram of Indianapolis, IN.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 6, at Calvary Road Baptist Church, with the Reverend John H. Swanger, III and the Reverend Wilford McCormick officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 pm prior to the service at the church.
