Sydney was preceded in life by, Clifford and Myrtle Greene (parents); Louis Greene ( brother); Boyce Wyatt ( half-brother); Carmen Jessup (sister); Teddy Greene (son); Jennifer Greene (granddaughter).
He enjoyed playing guitar, watching sports, and traveling. He loved reading his bible and was devoted to the Lord.
Sydney is survived by his wife of 70 years Katherine Greene; Tim Greene, Michael Greene (sons); Elsa Greene (daughter); Joshua Greene, Paige Greene (grandchildren), and three great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Garrett Funeral Home December 18, 2025 at 12 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at Greenhill Cemetery on December 18 , 2025 at 1 PM Pastor Kenneth Rhinehart will be officiating.
