Woodrow "Woody" Eugene Riddle

Woody was a retired Foreman at Haywood EMC following 30 years of service. He loved gardening, fishing, hunting and being outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Maxine Inman and Brenda Dies.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 35 years, Ann Riddle; sons, Shane Riddle and Clint Riddle; daughter, Misty Reece; step daughters, Leigh Haney and Julie Mease; three brothers, Roger, Roy and Eddie Riddle; two sisters, June Swanner and Ranel McCrary; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Garrett Funeral Home with the Reverend Jack Holland. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Bethel Community Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, c/o Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, 261 Dix Creek Road, Canton, NC 28716.
