Chad, Craig and Kent,    Please accept my very late condolences!  Your Mom was always an important part of the Darr clan to me and naturally there  from before I can remember. I will miss just knowing she is there and will miss talking with her..  She was a wonderful person!

Hello boys,
 A most kind & loving soul just passed into the arms of Jesus. I remember once, some years ago after Mom had had her first go around with actual illness. I called Emmanuel to set up an appt. with the Parish Nurse there. They instead, put me through to the volunteers somehow & your mom answered the phone. What a wonderful surprise. She was certainly a comforting person to talk to in troubled times.
 My apologies for not making it down to her funeral. I have started a new job (at the age of 60 - YIKES). Anyway, they often change the schedule & I cannot afford to fuss about it at this early stage of the employment game.
 Each time one of us loses a parent it feels like the end of an era doesn't it? How blessed we all are to have grown up the way we did. Strong families & a strong extended family. 
 Quirky, creative, loving, passionate, artistic, patient, rambunctious, musical, smart, kind, adventurous,  compassionate. we each have some combination of these beautiful qualities. Our folks passed it all along.
 Anyway, I've burbled long enough. My best wishes to all of you.

Dear Krimmel Family, I'm so sorry for you loss. I heard great things from Kenton about Gloria, she was such a delightful woman.

Chad, Craig and Kent, I am so very sorry to hear about your Mom. I remember those St. Louis visits where we stayed at Aunt Vi's and all of you were there....what fun we all had. In later years, your Mom and Dad were so fun when they came to Grand Rapids to visit Mom and Dad. The St. Louis faction stayed tight all their lives. Your Mom was such a wonderful woman...she will be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, Cousin Chris (Schroeder) Duncan

Thinking of you Kent, during this time of sadness.  I remember your Mom as being kind to us as teens.

"Gloria" - latin for "glory"; "Glory" - praise of a God or Goddess; "Gloriousness" - delightful; wonderful; completely enjoyable; and of course "Glo-Glo" - our favorite aunt. Peace.

Kent, I was so sad to hear the news about your mom.  Although I never had the privilege of meeting her, from the stories you've shared your mom was obviously a charming independent woman with a great sense of humor and full of so much love for her family.  I know you were so close to her and I'm hoping those good times and wonderful memories will bring you comfort in the days and months ahead. My sympathy and prayers for you and your family.

I recall some very wonderful memories from family get-together's at the Krimmel household (in the beautiful basement). My condolences to Chad, Craig and Kent as well as the entire family.

HI, MOM: I  am still crying and I am still in shock right now.  I know I can never pick up the phone to talk to you again.  I am so glad that I we have a wondeful relationshpis as daughter-in law and mother - in law for the past 23 years. I will really miss you.
