My name is Jeanne Wenzel and I'm sure you don't know me, but Marge was my best,best friend all through high school (I transferred to Maine West in my sophomore year) and up until she moved to Missouri and married you. I spent more time with her family than I did with my own.  Her parents were so great to me. After I graduated from college, I went by to see her Mom and Dad to find out how to contact Marge, but they had both moved and I didn't know how to find them.  I almost passed over the Facebook entry posted by Robin Swain until I read it and saw VerMerris in the name. I was totally shocked. I'm sorry I didn't try harder to find her all those years ago and now it's too late.  I would like to know if her parents are still alive and any other info you can share with me about her life. We have so many happy memories of spending time with Marge and we will never forget her. We were all so sad when we heard the news as she was such a kind, fun and happy person. Nothing was ever too much and she always ensured we had the best vacations - we have so many good memories! She was truly wonderful wife, mum, sister, aunt and grandmother. We wish we could all be there with you at this difficult time. Much love and hugs to all.

I so enjoyed meeting Marge/Herb and Linda at my home when we hosted the "VerMerris" reunion.  Extra special person named after one of my very special aunts that passed away 3/18/15.  Hugs and love to all of you.

Herb, and family, I'm at a loss for words, I'm so sorry to hear about,  Marge's  passing,hold on to your memories, they never fade, I'm praying for you and your family, even though we all didn't get together as often as we used to ,her smile and gentle spirit will be missed.  God bless you all.

I am sooo very sorry Jennifer for you and your family.  May she rest in GOD's sweet, and utter repose. . . Mommy will be gone 5 years in August and I still miss her desperately, more than I can breathe.  I know you are thankful for your family

My prayers are with all of Marge's family at this most difficult time.  Marge was such a special person - so kind and caring.  Her friends from Bethesda will miss her.

Mom sends her love and reminded me today that she was the first person to hold Marge (after her mom & dad, of course) when she was born - very special connection for her.
