Marion Bock

Bock, Marion A. born March 28, 1924 in Sharon, PA, died August 16, 2012. Daughter of Ralph Robert Bock and Verona Haspel Bock. Marion was a beloved and caring sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. She is survived by her brother, Ralph R. Bock, and three nieces: Jennifer Joyce of Union, MO, Alison Hartsock of Sherman Oaks, CA and Lin Joyce of Kirkwood, MO.

Marion started in the business world as a secretary in television advertising and rose to become a Vice-President.

She was a founding member of the St. Louis Chamber Chorus and The Ronald Arnatt Chorale. She performed in the White House East Room and with the St. Louis Symphony at Lincoln Center and at Carnegie Hall. She was also a soloist with the St. Louis Symphony at Powell Hall.

She was crucially helpful to many people who had needs. She was a very loving, generous and warmhearted person who valued her family and friends above everything else in life.

Memorial Service Tuesday, August 21st 10:30 am at Grace Episcopal Church, 514 E. Argonne Dr., Kirkwood, MO 63122. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army, 3949 Forest Park, St. Louis, MO 63108
