Mrs. Ruth J. Johnson Mckee

McKEE, Ruth (nee Johnson), 88 , of Glendale, MO on Saturday, November 12, 2011. Beloved wife for 65 years of Jack McKee; loving sister of Joanne (Don) Means, the late Paul Johnson, the late Ted Johnson and the late John Johnson; dear sister-in-law of Gregory McKee; dear aunt, great aunt and friend.

Ruth was a graduate of Webster Groves Class of 1941. After graduating from Webster Groves High School she worked for many years as secretary to the Store Keeper at Union Electric. After leaving Union Electric she and Jack joined Greenbriar Country Club where they became avid golfers. Ruth served on various golf related committees at Greenbriar and at one time served as the president of the St. Louis Women’s Golf Association. She was a go getter and found there was little she couldn’t do when she put her mind to it and had the support of Jack behind her. She will be greatly missed.

SERVICES: Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Gerber Chapel 23 W. Lockwood Ave. Webster Groves (968-2000). The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12 p.m. in the funeral home. In memory contributions may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church, 505 S.
