Bernice Theresa Cormier

Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Cormier, son, Gerald Cormier, her parents, and a granddaughter, Shalatta Cormier.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Frank Cormier; grandsons, Jarred Cormier and Josh Cormier; and brothers, Orscy Vanicor and Raymond Vanicor.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, with a rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 8:00 am until time of service.

A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2025 in the Chapel at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh with Rev. Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery in Welsh.
