She was born October 25, 1935 in Mowata to Moise and Lillia (Leger) Daigle. She married Harold Lee Trahan on August 27, 1962. He preceded her in death. Her parents and three sisters, Wilma, Ethel, and Ruth also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one son, Jeffery James LeJune and his wife Larna, two daughters, Pam Tietje of Elton and Dinah Comeaux of Jennings, LA, three sisters, Estelle Racca, Betty Stegall and Marie Moore, nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Ella was a member of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with all of her grandchildren.
A visitation will be Thursday, March 12, 2015from 4 to 9 pm at Hixson Funeral Home in welsh with cremation to follow. Burial of the urn will be at Bon Pastuer Cemetery. Words of Comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
