Hardy was known to his family and friends as "Boss". Hardy lived in Welsh all of his life until the time of his death. He worked as a Labor Forman for 29 years for Turner Industries at Phillips66. He was a chef by trade, he loved cooking for family and friends. He had a heart of gold, loved all sports, and he was definitely the Domino King. He loved family time.
Hardy entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 11, 2021, at his residence with family. He will be truly missed by his loved ones and friends. Even though he is not here physically, happy memories of him will live on in the hearts and minds of his loved ones and friends.
Hardy leaves to cherish his beloved wife, Wanda Lane Wilson of 50 years; three sons, Donovan Wilson (Bridgette) of Iowa, Corey Wilson and (Tangela Matthews) of Moss Bluff, Thomas Owens (Keisha) of League City, TX.; a daughter Kristi Sonnier of Port Arthur, TX.; a bonus daughter, Mona L. Thibodeaux (Tib) of Jennings; three brothers, Rev. Leonard Wilson (Susan) of Lake Charles, Milton Seymore of Jennings, Denard Vhoories of Welsh; two sisters, Paula Williams (Morgan) of Welsh and Uffa Wilson of Lake Charles; 19 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Samuel Trent and Uffa Wilson Moore (George Moore); one sister Diana Gray; and two brothers, Eddie James Wilson and Terry Lee Wilson.
Visitation services will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh on Saturday, January 16, 2021 beginning at 11:00 am until the time of services. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 pm. Interment will be immediately following in Oaklawn Cemetery.
